American Petroleum Institute: The API site gives news, a list of resources, and information on API programs and services. There is a catalog of API publications, including API Codes and Standards.  (http://www.api.org)

American Society for Testing and Materials: The ASTM site provides data on all of their standards, training courses, technical committees, and QA programs. It also has on-line directories of laboratories and consultants. (http://www.astm.org)

ASM International: This site gives information on ASM International - The Materials Information Society and its publications, conferences, and short courses. (http://www.asminternational.org)

ASME International: This site has information for mechanical engineers, as well as other engineers interested in the activities and programs of ASME International. The site includes lists of ASME publications, journals, and codes. (http://www.asme.org)

Engineering Information Inc.: EI is owned by Elsevier Science, a publisher of scientific and engineering information.  Ei CompendixWeb can be used to find journal citations. (http://www.ei.org)
